Removing valve springs has never been easier. With the help of this valve spring compressor tool, it only takes a matter of minutes to remove or install the valves spring assembly in your vehicle. Simply align the holes on the aluminum body of the valve spring compressor with the ones on the head, bolt it using the provided short bolts, place the retainer cap on the retainers, screw down the long bolt into the body, remove the keepers using the magnetized screwdriver, and voila! it's done.
You can use this tool with the head on the block (however, you'll need to pressurize the head so that the valves don't fall into the block), and there is no need to remove the rocker arm shafts.
Our valve spring compressors also prevent slipping and damaging the head like universal clamp compressors.The tool can also be used as shop bench tool and it is a must for repair and speed shops, or the do-it-yourself.
