Rare Comic: Pre-Code Horror!

This Auction Includes:
LOT OF 1 VINTAGE COMIC BOOK: FORBIDDEN WORLDS #22 CGC 4.5 With Off-White Pages From 1953.  This Classic Skull Cover Issue Has A Devil Story As The Lead Tale Of The Book, "Ghost Gold!", And Is Seldom Seen In Any Intact Condition.  Per The Latest GPA Data, Only A Couple Blue Label Copies Have Ever Surfaced, And One Of Them Was The Big Apple Pedigree Which Was Last Seen Two Decades Ago.  A Ghastly Skull-Faced Grim Reaper Emerges From The Flames On The Haunting Cover By Ken Bald. (Which Is Perfect To Promote The "Cursed Casket" Story Drawn  By The Masterful Bob Forgione.) It Also Features A Strange Occult Story, "Dead Man's Tree", By The Skilled Harry Lazarus. This Elusive Number Ends With "Dance Of Death" By The Underrated Walter Davoren.  This Issue Will Haunt Skull Cover Collectors, As It Makes Even Notorious Classics Like Punch Comics #12 And Gangsters Can't Win #2 Seem Common!

It's A Beautiful Specimen, And Frankly Surprising The Grade CGC Assigned Is Just 4.5...Nevertheless, That Is Still Amazing, Since It Normally Only Turns Up In Such Tattered Shape That It's Barely Suitable As A Reader.  Look At The Assorted Photographs: That Bold Blue Background, With The Stark Yellow Logo, The Eye Appeal Is Off The Charts!  If You Are Into The Rarest Horror Comics, Then This Book Is One To Snag Quickly As It's One Of The Scarcest Of The Whole Series In VG Or Better Shape.  {Don't Take This Chance To Score A Sharp Pedigree-Quality Example Lightly Or You Could End Up Settling For An Embarrassing Replica Facsimile.}  The Pre-Code Horror Craze Was In Full Swing So It's Got The Ubiquitous Lurid Content Including Satan, Ghosts, Ancient Curses, Skeletons, Monsters, Gore, Good Girl Art, Graphic Violence, And Supernatural Themes.

THIS SERIES WAS THE SISTER TITLE TO "ADVENTURES INTO THE UNKNOWN" WHICH WAS AMERICA'S FIRST SUPERNATURAL SERIES.

The Horror, Shock And Supernatural Themes Never Go Out Of Style!

This hails from a dark, dry, pet-free, climate-controlled environment.  Although it's seventy years old, it retains an amazing amount of luster and the eye appeal is incredible!

MATERIAL LIKE THIS SPOTLIGHTING ICONIC THEMES OF CINEMA, TELEVISION, POP CULTURE AND LITERATURE NEVER LOSES APPEAL.

This will be carefully packaged very thoroughly to ensure safe delivery.
