For your consideration is a miniature plein air landscape of the Southwest by an unknown artist. An unknown, clearly talented artist. No signature or distinguishing marks are present.

Subject is a Southwest landscape. We see endless peaks, and in the foreground, we see trees with the beginnings of fall foliage. The artist did a tremendous job organizing this painting, packing a lot into the tiny canvas without the artwork becoming too busy or overwhelmed. The execution is fantastic. This looks like Utah to me, but I’m sure there are similar views in the adjoining southwest states.

Artwork is housed in a dark wooden wooden frame with gold accent. Both frame and artwork are in great shape with no conditions to note. Artwork and frame measure 4 x 5”.

A note re shipping: Due to the unique nature and size of each artwork, I do not ship next day. I source custom boxes for each piece, or I create them myself. Sometimes I build cages. I use bubble wrap and other inflatables, foam, cushioned paper, and the like to protect artwork from the rough handling that inevitably occurs during transport. A bunch of paper and plastic are required to keep artwork safe, so I use recycled materials whenever possible. All of this takes time. These are one of a kind works of art. They cannot be replaced. Please give me the time they deserve to pack them properly. Thank you!
