Vintage gilt metal and enamel AYCLIFFE lapel badge featuring the parish Coat of Arms c1950s.
Aycliffe, now known as Aycliffe Village is in County Durham, England. Prior to the creation of Newton Aycliffe in 1948, the village was just known as Aycliffe, Village was added to the place name to distinguish it from the new town.
Approximately 3cms x 3.1cms in size.
