F1 Field Recorder+Lavalier Mic Pack

The F1 Field Recorder, a wearable field recorder capable of professional-quality audio recording, comes with a lavalier microphone that can be attached to the chest of the wearer. The new "F1-LP" microphone and recorder package allows you to record the "voice" of your video productions clearly without missing a beat.

Easy-to-hear voice

The most important sound in news reports and interviews, as well as in movies and dramas, is the human voice. The audibility of the voice greatly affects the quality of the video content. The F1 wearable field recorder + lavalier microphone set allows you to record clear, easy-to-hear voices with high-resolution sound quality of up to 24 bit/96 kHz, regardless of the shooting location.

Lavalier Microphone

The newly developed special lavalier microphone (LMF-1) can be attached to the chest area of the camera for stable, leak-free recording of the performer's dialogue and speech. A screw-lock connector prevents the cable from disconnecting, ensuring a secure connection. Speeches at weddings, on stage, and at lectures can be recorded hands-free and reliably.

Wearable

The lightweight, compact design of the F1 makes it a wearable recorder that can be worn on a costume. It can be securely attached to the performer's belt, or easily slipped into a pocket to be hidden from view.

Direct connection to the recorder

The F1-LP is a simple recording system that requires only a lavalier microphone and recorder. There is no need to worry about audio problems that can occur when using wireless microphones, such as interference, noise, and sound loss.

Simple Operation

Four one-touch buttons provide instant access to the recording format, low cut, limiter, and recording level setting menus. A highly visible monochrome LCD makes it easy to check the level meter and setting status. The language of the setting menu can be switched to Japanese.

Indispensable functions for video creators

Auto-lock function

Equipped with a "record hold" function that allows the recorder to remain in recording mode, and a hold switch that disables all key operations. This prevents accidental operation and allows recording to continue with peace of mind when leaving the recorder in the hands of performers.

Limiter and low-cut filter

Equipped with a limiter function to prevent sound crackling caused by sudden loud noises and a low-cut filter to reduce low frequency noise such as air conditioning and wind noise.

Three power supply options

Two AAA alkaline batteries provide approximately 10 hours of continuous recording, and lithium batteries provide approximately 16 hours of continuous recording (when using lavalier microphone). It can also be powered by AC adapter "AD-17" (sold separately) or USB bus power.

USB connection

Equipped with a USB port for transferring recording files on a microSD card to a PC, and also functions as a USB audio interface for PC/iOS devices with a high-quality sound asynchronous transfer system.

Recording Formats

The F1 can record in WAV or MP3 format, with WAV files automatically time-stamped (date and time information) so that they can be used as Broadcast Wave Format (BWF) compliant audio files.

Optional Microphone Options

ZOOM's unique microphone capsule replacement system is supported. Just like a lens on an SLR camera, you can select the most appropriate microphone for the recording subject, such as an XY stereo microphone, MS stereo microphone, stereo-spec shotgun microphone, or additional external XLR microphone input. A single recorder can be used for all kinds of situations.
