Danish 1937 Johnannes Siggard (1932-1960) silver (830) Art Deco domed cigarette case. This beautiful case has the hallmarks of Copenhagen's 3 towers dated 1937 which at the time were required to have a minimum silver standard of 830. There is also the SJ hallmark which is the symbols for the silvermaker Johannes Siggard (1932-1960).

The inside of this domed case has 2 elastic bands used to hold the cigarettes. The case measures 3.5"x 3.5" square

On the left bottom inside of the case has a inscribed date of 22-12-38. (December 22, 1938)

I found this in a Antique Shop in Philadelphia in the 1980's.  Current cigarettes do not fit into this case.
