Offered here is an original and authentic basketball jersey worn by All-American Joe Ruklick from his high school days at Princeton High School in Murray Kentucky. The jersey is a Rawlings size 42 (Keenan Sportings Goods) and is made of blue durene with white stitched lettering and numbers. Ruklick went on to have a magnificent college and pro career. The Associated Press voted him Third Team All-American basketball player for the 1958-59 season. I obtained this with several other items from the Rucklick estate last year.
Joe Rucklick (August 3, 1938 – September 17, 2020) was an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia Warriors in the NBA. He played college basketball for the Northwestern WIldcats of the Big 10 and was an All American in 1959. Ruklick was selected by Philadelphia in the second round of the 1959 NBA draft.
