This is a book full of cross-stitch patterns that are, predominantly, grumpy, sarcastic, or sardonic. Some are definitely adults only! A very small handful are sincerely pleasant (as in "Mom," shown above). A very strange little item - given to me as a gag gift. I can't imagine actually stitching any of these! Maybe you can. 

The hardcover book is in absolutely perfect condition - it's never been used and kept on a shelf.
