One year issue struck by Mainz to commemorate the death of Emerich Joseph von Breitbach-Bürresheim, archbishop of Mainz (1763-1774) and Bishop of Worms (1768-1774). Holder incorrectly states year of 1768; this was in fact minted in 1774 (as can be seen on the reverse where it notes death in 1774 - line #8). The 10 Kreuzer denomination is also known as a 1/12 Convention Taler. Classified as Prince Alexander 753; Col. Walther 628.
