All sales on programming orders are final. We highly recommend messaging us your zip code; as well as counties and agencies that you are interested in, so we can look into encryption, needed software upgrades (DMR, NXDN, ProVoice), simulcast, and more before you purchase. We program the Whistler scanners with the EZ-Scan software; which also relies on the database of Radio Reference. If your interest is not on Radio Reference, then it will not be programmable. Unanswered questions and surprises are the most common reasons for dissatisfaction with programming; thus, please message us before you make a purchase.
All prices already include an 8GB memory card. The TRX-1s require a microSD card; while the TRX-2s require a full-sized SD card. We ask that you wait up to 3 business days before we ship after payment has cleared. Some counties require more attention than others.

What if I want air, railroads, or racing?
- Each of those will count as "1 County". If you want to monitor just air, you will choose "1 County". If you want to monitor air and trains, you will choose "2 County". If you live in Chicago and want to monitor Cook County, DuPage County, and The O'Hare Airport, you will choose "3 County".
Do I have to buy programming from you?
- No you do not! We have videos on YouTube and guides on our website that teaches how to program through Whistler's EZ-Scan software. This service is for people who just want to start scanning right away. It is also for people who want to see how we program before they try it themselves.
Do you program outside of the USA?
- As of now, only the United States of America.
