Welcome to Earlycoppercoins!  I am the owner, Shawn A. Yancey, and I am a member of ANA and Early American Coppers, EAC #4647.  I am pleased to offer the following item:

1787 New Jersey copper 1/2p, M44-d, W5235, Sleigh Runner, R4.  This is one of the "named" New Jersey varieties that goes back over a century.  The coin itself is a sharp VERY FINE with dusky dark brown color, with surfaces that are smooth to the naked eye but show just a hint of granularity in my large photos or with a strong glass.  The obverse has a few tiny rim nicks on the right side, while the reverse has a small planchet flaw or cut between the P L of PLURIBUS.  From the Furnace Run collection, but with no prior pedigree or purchase records.

Thank you for checking out this item!  Make sure you add it to your watchlist, and also subscribe to my eBay store to receive newsletters and promotions!
