2. Deep cleaning with AIVS solution, and vacuumed by VPI
3. Ultrasonic bath, followed by distilled water rinse
4. Zap with static gun
5. Replace inner sleeve with anti-static inner sleeve
6. Replace outer sleeve with new outer sleeve

• Very Good Plus (VG+)
• Media:
• Very light scuffs or scratch
• Sleeve:
• Very slight ring wear
• Spindle marks may be present
• Picture sleeve and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners
• Slight signs of wear, and may be marred by cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner
• Very Good (VG)
• Media:
• Heavy scuffs
• Long or several scratches
• Sleeve:
• Obvious ring wear
• Some/Medium wear
• Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached
• The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time
• Good (G), Good Plus (G+)
• Media:
• Extreme scuffs
• Significant scratches
• Sleeve:
• Seam splits
• Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present
• Poor (P), Fair (F)
• Media:
• The record is cracked, badly warped
• Sleeve:
• The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all seams and heavily marred by wear and writing
• The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it
