Introducing the Universal Studios Japan Super Nintendo World Employee Gift and Hotel raffle prize pin display box collection!
Hello my cute things - I am feeling so FAB right now!
History/Background : Fams - This was a Gift to USJ employees who worked specifically in the Super Nintendo World area of the park! These were also a very limited raffle prize/drawing for select participating hotels near US-J that partook in the grand opening of Super Nintendo World! - very kewls
LETS GO OVER EVERYTHING BELOW!
THE FRONT/REAR OF BOX :
Housed in a beautiful red colored border framed box! - REAL WOOD - the family of pins is housed inside behind a clear plastic display - the backing of the pins are a faint grey/white striped design with the Super Nintendo World colorful lettering in top center.
The rear is a black colored cover - with a built in display stand , mounted in the center , the pin backing is held together by firm black little notches that can be pushed to the side to open the pin box from the rear if you desire.
The pin box is heavy - I did not weigh but It is roughly guesstimate 1.5 pounds. (if you message me i'll stop being lazy and can weigh it and get back to you lol)
THE PIN FAMILY : Starting from the center, we have the YUGE n BIGLY Mario popping out of pipe designed pin! below him is a long rectangular black on silver UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN logo I believe the Mario/Pipe and USJ logo may be 1 huge pin since they seem very closely attached so I cannot confirm since for my personal set, I have never opened the pin display box from the rear to inspect
Onto the left column, from top to bottom we have a Super Star - Peach Castle - and Toad Mushroom house!
Onto the right column , from top to bottom we have a end level Flag - 1UP Mushroom - and a Bowser Castle!
The pins are METAL with a nice thickness to them as witnessed on the sidewalls in the various photos
photos # 14/15 with my finger i am showing a light mark/line. Hard to see in photos and given the red coloring it's on. It is very light and you would have to tilt the frame at an angle to see it.
