Compact shaped body with cutaway, body thickness is about 93-98mm.

All plywood BODY with maple top and nato SIDE/BACK.

Non-scalloped X-bracing is applied.

The 630mm short scale and 42mm nut width are slim, but the thickness is firm, and the asymmetrical neck (asymmetrical) provides excellent sound and playability!

Both BODY and NECK have a glossy finish.

A CT-4BII (PTU) preamplifier is mounted on the instrument, and a convenient tuner function and tone control are provided!

The taut sound is typical of Takamine, making this model ideal for live performances!
