This listing is for copies of Issue No.5 (Autumn 1982), Issue 11 (Winter 1984) & Issue 11.5 (first quarter of 1985) of the Madness M.I.S. (Madness Information Service) Nutty Boys Comic with Issue No.5 being 32 pages in length, Issue 11 is a fold out double sided Poster & Issue 11.5 is smaller in size than the other Issues in the M.I.S. series being only 8 pages in length. The Madness Information Comic was only available to people who were Madness Fan club members in the 1980’s & the M.I.S. Comic/Fanzine ran for 16 Comics/Issues from 1980-1986.

The M.I.S. Issue 5 was the last of the comic type of MIS Issues with the later Issues from 6 onwards being designed & printed like glossy magazines. Issue 5 is in full colour featuring a 1982 Japanese Tour report, cartoons, behind the scenes pictures, interviews with the band, a crossword (which isn’t filled in) & fan artwork amongst other things & it’s packed to the rafters.

This M.I.S. Issue 11 features a architectural drawing of Madness’ then new Liquidator Studios with a guided tour of the Studios provided by a number of comments including from Cathal, Bedders, Jamie Spencer & John Hasler on one side of the fold out Poster. The other side of this Issue 11 fold out Fanzine features a lovely colour image of the then 6 band members promoting their Zarjazz Record Label with facsimile black signatures of each band member around the white panel of this Poster.

Issue 11.5 is fully in black & white & has information on the recent Starvation Single & also a report on the bands recent concert at the Hope & Anchor where they performed as The Wayfinders. Issue 11.5 is smaller in size dimensions than Issue 5 which is proper Comic/Magazine size. I’m selling these three Madness M.I.S. Comics/Fanzines now as I‘m reducing my Madness Memorabilia collection due to a house move.

This Madness M.I.S. Comic Issue No.5 is in a great condition with both centre staples intact & no pages coming away from the staples & no pages missing, folded or ripped. Issue 5 has no creasing to the back & front pages & just minor edgewear on the front & back pages. None of the posters or articles have been cut out of this Issue No. 5 Comic but the crossword has been completed in in red pen in this Issue 5 Comic. This M.I.S. Issue 11 Fold Out Fanzine has no rips, tears or stains to it but it does have some creases & edgewear to it on both sides. This Issue No. 11.5 Fanzine has both centre staples intact & no loose, ripped or missing pages. It has quite a lot of surface marks, creases, pings & dents to the front page which I’ve tried to capture in the photos of this listing. None of these 3 M.I.S. Issues have any blue tack stains or water damage to them & none of the 3 smell of damp etc. I’ve tried to accurately describe these 3 Madness M.I.S. 1980’s Comics/Fanzines which I’m sure you’ll agree is reflected in the photos of this listing. These three Madness M.I.S. Issues 5, 11 & 11.5 1982-1985 Fanclub Comics/Fanzines come from a pet & smoke free home.

Due to a few recent buyers bidding on my items & then refusing to pay for the items once they've won due to them saying they don't have the money I would kindly ask that you only bid on these 3 Madness M.I.S. I’m listing these 3 Madness 1982-1985 M.I.S. Fanclub Comics/Fanzines at a Buy It Now price of £85:00p with no reserve price though I will accept sensible offers for this Collection so someone should end up with a good deal here as Issue 11.5 is the fourth rarest of the M.I.S. Comics.

Just to add that I do not rip buyers off on postage & the postage that is quoted for each option is the actual postage price with the cost of packaging included in the prices. I'll be sending these 3 Madness 1982-1985 M.I.S. Fanclub Comics/Fanzines through the Royal Mail using Signed For options only.

Returns will be accepted in line with eBay's new Policy of 30 days of these Madness M.I.S. Fanclub Comics Issues 5, 11 & 11.5 being posted & with a valid reason for their return only with the buyer paying the postage unless their are exceptional circumstances. Also if you as the buyer can let me know before your about to return these Madness M.I.S. Comics as to the reasons for their return then this would be appreciated. Obviously I expect these 3 Madness 1982-1985 M.I.S. Fanclub Comics/Fanzines to be returned in the same condition that I posted them out to the winning bidder in to confirm i.e. with no damage to any of them.

Country then you will now have to pay VAT & other possible imports charges on these items whereas previously you wouldn’t have had to when the U.K. was in the E.U.
