2022 Cincinnati Bengals “It Is Us” AFC Championship Game Framed Front Page Newspaper Print

At Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on January 30, 2022 the Cincinnati Bengals challenged the heavily favored Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC Championship. The Chiefs had the championship pedigree, but the Bengals, led by quarterback Joe Burrow, were hungry. The Chiefs charged to a 21-3 lead early in the first half. But in the second half, Joe Burrow mounted an intense comeback that turned that 18 point lead back on the Chiefs. By late in the 4th quarter, the Bengals took a late 24-21 lead on McPherson’s 52 yard field goal. The Chiefs were able to tie the game as time expired, sending it into overtime. The Chiefs opened overtime with the ball, but on the 3rd play Mahomes threw an interception, and Burrow and the Bengals took over. He marched them down the field, winning the game with another McPherson field goal. The Bengals defeated the Chiefs, 27-24, to become AFC Champions!
