This D.A.S. Blue Racer marble run has an extreme amount of gold lutz sprinkled all over the full 360 degrees of the surface. The amount of sparkle is so extreme when you have the marble in hand it is almost shocking. If you take into the sunlight or shine a flashlight onto the surface, the brilliance will exceed your expectations. It is that good. Sometimes, the gold lutz dusting is uneven due to the difficulty in applying this material to the molten stream of hot glass as it exits the kiln. However, when a master glass maker is at the stream working their magic, this is exactly what you get...pure dripping excitement. 

There is a very nice multi-colored band of glass swirls that include some emerald green aventurine, some pink and some walnut. Of course, the deep red oxblood glass is a classic feature that most marble collectors simply love to death. Don't forget about that absolutely cute curly cue of oxblood drizzle that that be easily seen in the first picture. For some reason, it reminds me of a cute little piglet tail that way it curls...lol. This ones a keeper for sure that will most likely in crease in value due to that rare and hard to find drizzle pattern. If you like gold lutz drizzling sparklers, then this one is for you. Enjoy! 

I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with built-in flash to provide as much visual detail as possible. Low lighting conditions make it difficult to pick up any small flaws, so that is why the flash is used to show everything. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.721" in diameter measured with electronic calipers.
