Vintage 1928 Waltham 9ct Solid Gold 7J Cal Grade 361 Gents 31mm Trench Wrist Watch

A stunning rare gents solid 9ct gold Waltham  watch fitted with a 7 Jewel Grade 361 hand wound movement that is not running and will require a service before use. The watch case is fully hallmarked with makers mark ALD (Dennison), Birmingham, 1928,the reward watch case has a later engraving that reads 'Nora to Alfred, 18.9.39'. The ceramic face has some hairline cracks in places, the crystal is in excellent condition, the case has some minor tarnishing and small marks in places. The leather strap shows signs of use but still has plenty of life left in it. The watch weighs approx 8.66 grammes with the movement and crystal removed but the crown still in place so probably around 8.5 grammes gold weight

It measures just over 31mm diameter excluding the crown
