Featured in Drive, the 2011 model Ford Mustang GT upgraded to a much more powerful engine, the "Coyote" 5.0L DOHC V8 and increased its power by nearly 100 horsepower. For the production of Drive, Ford loaned multiple automatic unmodified Mustangs to the team, however, many of the more difficult stunts in the infamous chase were performed by a custom Mustang with manual transmission
