Up for auction here is a set of four (4) new old stock wheel covers (hubcaps) for a 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7. They are for 14" steel wheels. These caps are nearly flawless, with only very minor flaws - most likely due to long term storage or moving.
The 1970 XR7 caps have the black painted circle around the center emblem, while the 1969 XR7s have a white painted circle. These are for a 1970 model year. Also, the clearly visible part number sticker with part number beginning with the letter "D" followed by a "0" also denotes 1970.
