DESCRIPTION

This decanter is hand blown, with 11 hand cut panels around the elongated neck, and polished out.  The gold gilt design of roses, runs all around the perimeter of the bowl and is in good condition.  16 window panes have been cut and polished under this design.  The stopper is a hand blown balloon with 6 cut panels, also decorated with gold lines.  Apart from one small bruise on its flat top, the glass is in perfect condition. There is an '18' on the base of the stopper and a '12' on the base of the decanter, sitting in the ground out and polished pontil.

 The item glows green under UV light denoting that it is made from Uranium glass
