Lovely "My Name is Noelani" figurine by Julene Melcher (1912-2005) Honolulu, Hawaii.  She is holding a pink Lei and is wearing a hand painted floral gown.   Her dress, hair, and lei are all in a high gloss glaze.  Her face, arms, and hands are in a matte finish.

Just shy of 7" tall and 4" across her base.
Signed on bottom.

Condition:  Overall very good condition.  No chips or cracks.  The usual crazing that is found on these figurines is present. Her facial coloring has a bit of darker areas at her chin and cheeks.  I did not attempt to clean for fear of ruining the matte finish paint. There is some paint loss to her left forearm as seen in photos.  There is a thin glossy caramel colored line at the point where her neck meets the top of her white dress. It is only to the left side, not all the way across.    I see no damages to porcelain.  Perhaps where the ultra high gloss glaze hit the matte face paint?  Does not detract greatly.

A beautiful example of Julene Melcher's artistry.
