Vintage 1940s gown, in a simple yet elegant cut.

Fabric feels like a rayon crepe, in a peach colour.

Dress features decorative front buttons, side metal zip, shoulder pads, functional pocket with beading, and side drape.

Dress also comes with a matching belt, but I don't believe this to be original to the dress, owing to the buckle, and the fabric is slightly different, though a very close match.

Measurements taken flat, and doubled where necessary, though there is a little more stretch to the fabric, so dress may accommodate slightly larger measurements.

Bust: 36"

Shoulder: 15"

Waist: 28"

Hip: 40" (taken just below pocket/zip)

Length: 58" (top of mid shoulder to hem)

Dress is in very good condition on the whole. There are various small scattered smudge marks, which aren't super obvious unless closely inspecting the dress, but may lift with a dryclean. There are also some areas of slight discolouration, around the underarms, and hem of the gown. Buttons slightly dingy. Please see photos for examples. In short, wearable as is, but best to be drycleaned. Selling as is.
