Rare Rolleiflex 3003 Traveller Set is a commission sale on behalf of me...and it's just back from a checkover and CLA by our genius engineer!

Yes, one of our own collection now seeking a new home.

Don't know what it is?   Here's some blurb:

The Rolleiflex 3003 was unusual in its body style, which resembled a medium format camera more than the typical 35mm SLR.  It was highly modular, featuring not only interchangeable lenses, but also film magazines, viewfinders, focusing screens, and power supplies.

It was very versatile and could be used either at eye-level or waist-level without changing the viewfinder.

At least 39 lenses were made specifically for the 3003 in the top-quality Zeiss, Schneider, and Rolleinar brands.  They ranged in focal length from a 15mm f/3.5 Zeiss Distagon to a 1,000 mm f/5.6 Zeiss Mirotar.  (A 1,000 mm f/8 Zeiss Tele-Tessar was available too, in case you didn’t like mirror lenses!)  Rollei even made an underwater housing and a night vision accessory for the 3003!

One if the best things about this system is that you can change films whalfway through thanks to being loaded in interchangeable magazines.

This one will come as seen with it's outfit case, remote shutter release, Rolleinar 28mm f2.8, Planar 50mm f1.8, charger and I think, the manual is somewhere too!

It's in lovely condition throughout and is one of the most funky cameras I have ever had the good fortune to use.

Big note here:  Brand new rechargeable cells fitted, which will ensure that it goes on and on for a long time but we shall also throw in a backup AA battery pack
