Apocynum venetum has cardioprotective, diuretic, and sedative properties. This tea is effective for hypercholesteremia and the prevention of atherosclerosis. Therefore, this tea is now often drunk both preventively and remedially by the middle-aged and elderly in China and Japan. Other research indicates that Luo Bu Ma has antidepressant potential and can reduce anxiety. Note: Leaves could found in the dried flowers. Brewing Guide: Use about 2 grams of dried flowers (1 teaspoon) for every 400 ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water 80°c (176°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing.
