This hand made and handcrafted quilt top has a graphic and bold look and shows a creative use of color and design. Black bands give this a very dramatic background. Bands showcasing unique designs give this quilt top a blue ribbon for creativity.  Blue, pink and yellow patchwork, a diamond pattern in purple and tan, and a chevron pattern in lime green, pink and blue are just a few of the combinations. A touch of rick-rack accompanies one of the design bands. This quilt top is 100% cotton and appears to be hand-pieced. It is most likely from the 1940's or 1950's, although not sure about this. An additional border along the sides could be added for a larger quilt. This quilt top would be beautiful in any vintage or contemporary home. Heirloom quality!
