This item has been used, but there is nothing wrong with it, excellent condition. Please see all photos as part of the description. It is not metal (like the current silver metal base being sold). It is ceramic/glass, beautiful navy blue color with star cut-outs that let the light shine through! I could not find this online anywhere, so here is your chance to own a super cool lamp nobody else is selling. Loved it during story time when my boys were young, so fun at night. 

This lamp has a 3-way setting on the turn knob near bulb: 

1- just the lamp ON (reading light).   

2- just the base/stars ON (nightlight).  

3- both lamp & base ON.  Great versatile feature. 

Base is about 7.25" diameter, as well as tall (not including the light socket piece). With lamp shade (shown) it sits about 17" tall. 

Will be shipped very securely in the ORIGINAL box (with styrofoam) - there should be no chance of breaking. Instructions included. Comes with the small nightlight for base, and a larger bulb for the upper lamp. Comes from a clean and non-smoking home.
