This beautifully done clay figure is hand painted. It shows an man carving a buddha . He is holding a chisel and a hammer. The hand is removable This piece is in great condition. These figures have been made since the 1800's...but I think that this one is from the 1950's. He is 10.5" tall...and 8 x 7" .

This figurine from Japan is preloved...but it looks perfect to me.
