The pocket part of this coupling will accept all brands of NEM coupling, so these are good to retrofit to various rolling stock by screwing or gluing them in place. The coupling hooks are shorter than the equivalent Hornby hooks. If, when the pockets are fitted and they are not able to swivel, you will probably need to use a medium width coupling or a Kadee.
