The original Fanatec shaft clamp that is included with the Fanatec CSL DD wheelbase is flawed by the fact it does not provide an even clamping force on both sides of the collar. This leads to widely reported misalignment of the shaft and allows the shaft to become loose over time causing steering wobble. This item is a dual clamp fitting like Fanatec use on their more powerful DD1 & DD2 wheelbases.

This Aluminium ring clamp replaces the original D clamp which applies uneven force, and improves shaft runout and disconnects, which further extend the life of your wheel base. Eliminating the shaft pulling out of the USB type C port, which is common on the Fanatec stock clamp.
