Has a small blemish on the plating. It is smooth and clean, but dark. I may try to just polish that area out to about 3k grit. We will see. Beautiful ratchet. Has a hole on the top for oil. Really pretty one. Dont see these too often in the states. Not sure what the writing on the handle means. V in a diamond, 3/1
