Stunning set on a beautiful celadon ground which highlights the wonderfully detailed

orchid.  

For all the orchid lovers, this set features the Oncidium Papilio Majus variety with its 

furled pink and yellow form.

Hand painted and signed by J. Price with each piece matching.  

The cup with its gently scalloped  rim is 2.625 inches tall with a 3.5 inch diameter at the rim.

The plate has a 9 inch diameter.  The backstamp would date this around 1891-1900+.
