Upland Game Shooting by H.L. Betten Fifth Edition 1945 is a classic book that belongs in every upland wingshooter's library.  This book is in solid condition, the dust jacket showing a great deal of wear as shown in the photos, but binding and boards are in very good condition.  This is a personal account of hunting across North America in the first half of the 20th century, a warm, chatty, anecdote-filled report with natural history, hunting tactics, the guns, the dogs, even the recipes...everything we love.  Of special interest are the numerous line drawings and eight full color plates done by the great Lynn Bogue Hunt, a gorgeous supplement to Betten's solid prose.  A beautiful book in acceptable condition.
