These 3-plank wagons were probably the smallest general goods wagons employed by the GER, surpassed only by its various single-bolster wagons. 250 were built with fixed sides and ends between 1891 and 1892, with the remaining 300 being constructed as dropsiders up to 1901. Though useful for smaller loads, they were fairly rapidly withdrawn by the LNER, with the last being scrapped in 1941.

The kit is 3D-printed in white PLA. It represents the later version with dropsides, and is provided with two sets of double V-hanger brakes. Wheels, buffers and couplings not included. Either Hornby or Gibson 12mm split-spoke wheels, and MJT 2301 or 2309 private owner buffers, are recommended. Designed for screw-on tension-lock couplings by Triang, Hornby and/or Bachmann. Running numbers include: 21013 and 33396, with 600000 added to their numbers in LNER days.
