This is one of my favorite coin series; the Chinese zodiac depicted using animal skulls, known as the Lunar Skull Series.

This is the second in the series; the 2016 Lunar Monkey/Year of the Monkey. Each coin was backed by a different country, this one being the Republic of Palau. 

This coin was issued in both BU and Proof finishes. There were only 2,000 BU coins and 500 Proof coins minted. This is a BU and Proof Pair, with both the BU and Proof being #29 in the mintage. These coins come with its Certificate of Authenticity showing them to be #029 out of 500 for the Proof coin and #0029 out of 2,000 for the BU coin.
