They were published weekly as a "Penny Pulpit" pamphlet, then released in book form at the end of year. The first six volumes, called "The New Park Street Pulpit", cover the early years of Spurgeon's ministry at the New Park Street Chapel, 1855-1860; the fifty-six succeeding volumes published under the title The Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit. This collection covers C.H. Spurgeon's thirty-two year ministry at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London from 1861. The entire series of sermons, completely unabridged, is published in 62 yearly volumes from 1855 through 1916, many published posthumously. xii, 624pp. Salmon illustrated dustjacket.
