This is an excellent ten dollar copy of a book that often goes for very much more. Read the back cover carefully. If our hero could just surf this one giant wave, he can save the world. It sounds like a stretch to me, but it could be great for all I know. I've read science fiction connected to all kinds of things, but never surfing.
