This is a very formal dining room set manufactured between 1930-1950. Created by Phoenix in a then-traditional style, popular "lyre" harp motifs on the backs of each chair (all fully in tact).

The table stays 40" wide. When the sides are folded down and the leaves are out, it shrinks to a space-conscious 26" long; each leaf adding a foot; and when fully extended with said leaves: 83". Perfect for entertaining in an otherwise small space. Each leaf locks securely in place with a latch.

Fully extended, this table could seat 6-8 people, but I only have four chairs. Those chairs will require reupholstering (one need its seat nailed down too, as pictured). Mahogany is very delicate, and this beauty has seen her share of scratches and chipping (some deeper than others). Completely stripping and refinishing this set would revitalize it into something amazing.
