Watson Pro’s VM-98-SHL rechargeable Li-ion battery delivers up to 98 Wh with 14.4 V / 6.8 Ah capacity. This battery has slimmed down and lost a little weight, but it still carries plenty of juice to power complex setups and power-hungry lights that require up to a 12 A draw. The integrated D-tap port can power accessories like lights, monitors, transmitters, and audio recorders.

A five-segment battery level indicator gives you accurate, real-time readings of your remaining battery power. You’ll never be caught short of power in the middle of a take, because if the battery reaches 9% capacity or less, it blinks an alert to let you know it’s time to change batteries. For safety and protection for your gear, intelligent circuit control guards against damage from over-current, low voltage, overheating, and short circuits.

Battery-Level Indicator

Don’t just guess when it’s time to change the battery. A 5-LED indicator gives you a real-time, accurate readout for the current battery level. When the battery drains down to 9% or less, the bottom LED blinks to make sure you don’t run out of power in the middle of a take.

D-Tap Connector

A D-tap connection offers the flexibility to power devices directly from the battery with 12 V DC / 10 A output. Connect lights, monitors, cameras, wireless video transmitters, and audio recorders without the added weight and hassle of extra batteries to power each one individually.

USB Output

Don’t leave the set or run to your car if you have to recharge your phone or tablet. Do it right from the USB port on the battery. The USB output provides 5 V / 1 A for convenient accessory charging.

V-Mount

The V-Mount provides a secure locking system for the battery. Move around, run and gun, keep up with your talent, or put your camera on a slider or at an angle. Get those crucial shots without worrying about dislodging the battery while you’re working.

The VM-98-SHL is rated at 98 Wh which is below the TSA’s 100 Wh safety limit for airplane carry-ons. If you’re traveling to a shoot that might take a few hours, you can bring several VM-95-SE batteries onboard with you.
