*Please keep in mind that all of our items are true vintage and antique pieces, and are not reproductions.  True vintage is special because of the artistry, craftsmanship and high quality fabrics.  Unless otherwise noted, our items are sold in the condition we find them.  Collectors understand that these items may require an investment in time to preserve and protect the condition in a way that best suits their preferences so we do not alter, clean, or mend our garments (unless otherwise noted).   We use the following size chart as a general rule for determining size by today's standards.  Please keep in mind that vintage and antique fabrics have no stretch or "give" like modern clothing and you may need to adjust your sizing to account for that.

VINTAGE CLOTHING CONDITION

GUIDE

Mint:  As perfect and pristine as it was

originally.  The garment may have never

been worn and tags may still be attached.

Near

Mint:  Shows

only the slightest bit of wear on an otherwise perfect garment.  This means it may have only been worn once or

twice.

Excellent:  The garment is totally sound in structure and

appearance.  Any wear is the result of having

been worn occasionally, and it is clear that the garment has been well cared

for and stored.

Very

Good:  The

garment is wearable with some minor flaws. The flaws could be stains, loose

seams, a missing button, or a fallen hem, for example.  It is often possible to take a garment found

in this condition and mend, alter, or specially treat stains to turn it into a

garment in excellent condition.  Overall

the garment is good, and any flaw still standing does not prevent you from

wearing and enjoying it.

Good:  The garment is wearable, but the dress is no

longer in pristine condition.  In this

case, you normally could not achieve excellent condition even if repairs are

made.   That said, often if you love a

piece, you will just accept the flaws.

These are often vintage clothes that were simply well loved and thus

well-worn in their day.  Other times it

may be a case where the garment just wasn?t stored very well.

Poor:  Multiple holes, tears, stains, etc.  The garment is unwearable but good for pattern

making, inspiration and study.

SHIPPING

Combined Shipping:  We are happy to combine shipping on any

items purchased within a 7 day period, so be sure to check out our store.  Please do not pay until you are ready for us

to ship.  eBay requires us to ship all items within 1 day of payment so, if you are still shopping and would like us to combine shipping, please do not pay until all of your auctions (within a 7 day period) have ended.

If you win more than one auction we will send out combined invoices the following morning.

International Buyers - Please Note:

Import duties, taxes & charges are not included in the item price or

shipping charges.  These charges are the

buyer's responsibility.  Please check

with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will

be prior to bidding/buying.  These

charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or

when you pick the item up.  Please do not confuse them for additional shipping

charges.  We are unable to alter the price on the customs forms as it is a violation of eBay policy and also nullifies any insurance coverage.
