This vintage Marshall Field's black velvet evening coat is an exquisite piece that exudes elegance and sophistication with it's mink collar and mutton sleeves.

Lined with satin and batting for extra warmth on a chilly evening.

Interior ties, ties at neck, and two covered button closures.

The coat is perfect for special occasions and evening wear, with a style that exudes the glamour of the 1930's and 1940's.

Condition:

Coat is in very nice condition considerate of age; as shown.

No stains, tears or restoration to the velvet, except for a roughly 1/2" seam separation near the bottom; as show

Interior and batting has some light spotting; as shown

Dimensions:

53" long measured from collar seam at back to bottom of hem

Shoulder is 15", measured seam-to-seam.

Sleeves are 25" long, measured from shoulder to end of cuff

Armpit is 16", measured flat, double for actual chest/bust of 32"

Waist = 38"

Hips = 46" 

I am about 5' 7" and wear a size 2/4, this fits me well.
