The RGV250's greatest feature is the synchronized tremolo and T102 bridge, an Ibanez original system that is also used on the SA series. The non-locking system reduces the complexity of string changes and tuning. Smooth arming play is possible.

The pickups are Infinity R and RS pickups.

The Infinity pickups, which are often installed on entry-level Ibanez models, are used for front, center, and rear pickups, all of which have spun a reputation for reliability and performance while excelling in cost performance.

The fingerboard is made of purpleheart, which turns purple when exposed to air after being cut down, and turns dark brown after more time is allowed to air out. This wood belonging to the Fabaceae family is very hard and excels in sharp attack and rich sustain.
