Marcelo Barbero Iho (which means son of Marcelo Barbero) (1943-2005) trained under Arcángel Fernández, who died prematurely in 2005.

Marcelo Barbero Iho's work bears a double label: the original "Marcelo Barbero Iho" and "Para Casa Arcánhel". This "Marcelo Barbero Iho" is "Para Casa Alcángel.

He is truly one of the master craftsmen.

Marcelo Barbero Iho's guitars, like Arcánhel Fernández's, have an image of a hard tone, but this Marcelo Barbero Iho has a fat, gentle, sweet, and full tone that sounds strong and good.

Also, all of the "Marcelo Barbero Iho" guitars I have played so far have quite a strong tension, but this guitar has the softest tension and is the easiest to play among them.

The neck is straight.

Repair parts: There are 3 cracks on the surface board by the fingerboard, which have been repaired including the back patch. There are also two cracks on the surface board where the elbow hits, which have been repaired including the back patch. There is one crack on the rightmost part of the front board, which has been repaired including the back patch.

Scratches, etc.: I think there are few scratches for its age.
