The Mercurial Vapour XXV edition uses the top of the "Silver Metallic / Black" colour with Volt inscriptions on the lace and sole as a hint of the colour that decorated the iconic Mercurial models of previous years. Nike has added a 25th anniversary brand name in the form of Roman numerals to the boots to give the design a sense of exclusivity, while the old and new Mercurial logos cover the entire top of chrome.
