This silver bar is made from sterling silver which is 92.5% silver by weight. The weight is measured in grains as you can see from the third photo. 5000 gr. is 10.41 troy ounces multiplied by .925 silver content gives you 9.63 actual silver troy ounces. This silver bar is actually quite scarce in that not many of the 50 state collections were produced. The whole collection was 520 oz. of silver and you had to buy the whole collection.
