Up For Your Consideration Is A Very Nice Conn 8D Nickel Silver Double French Horn.
The valves on this horn are superb. My repair guy confirmed that the valves were replated at one time. There is not much play in the valves at all. THIS HORN IS A PLAYER! The finish on the horn is very respectable and limited to some minor dings, dents, surface scratches, surface wear, and other signs of character. The most notable imperfections on this horn would be the surface scratches and surface wear on the horn. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, the lead pipe is in good condition, and the bell is nice and straight. There are some signs of previous dent work on the bell. The Elkhart engraving looks great, and the horn appears to be all original. This horn was recently played and it sounded amazing. Comes with a case which has seen much better days and will most likely need to be replaced. This is a great sounding M Series Double French Horn!
