This is a 1981 limited edition model with S8 serial on the head, pot date of 1980, and PU mounted with a plastic bobbin.

There are some parts changes, but this one has been refretted and is in good playing condition.

This is one of the last of the large heads with specifications close to the late 70's. It has a tight and tight sound.

The sound is tight and clear, and you can enjoy the bright and crisp tone typical of strats in the late 70s.

The frets have been refretted with vintage type frets, and this vintage guitar can be played without any stress.

There are some scratches on the side of the body and some minor scratches from playing, but there is no major damage and the guitar is in good condition for a guitar over 40 years old.

The neck is in good condition for a guitar over 40 years old, with about 90% frets remaining and no warping or twisting that would be a concern.

The truss rod has been confirmed to work in both directions.

The electrics are also in good condition, with no knob galling, etc.

Nut, frets, bridge assembly, pickguard, 3 knobs, SW knob, arm, PU cover, tremolo back panel, and some wiring materials have been replaced.
