The microKORG XL+ is newly equipped with Korg's famous SG-PRO X piano, which is renowned for its "standing" sound in a band, a grand-type electric piano with a hard sound, M1 and VOX organs, vintage strings using tape, and other vintage sounds from the history of keyboards. All these gorgeous sounds dating back to the history of keyboards are condensed into a compact body. The 128 programs, arranged with only truly useful sounds, provide enough quality and variation to use this unit as a main or sub keyboard.

■Program and genre selector that matches the needs of the times

The microKORG XL used a sound selector with two large dials to select programs by combining "music genre" and "instrument category.

The microKORG XL+ re-selects these "music genres" to match the fast-paced music scene of today.

The new microKORG XL+ features a re-selectable "music genre" to suit today's fast-paced music scene, making it even more intuitive to select a program that matches the image that comes to mind.

Also, by keeping one dial fixed and selecting the other, you can change programs within a song (fixed music genre) or select different variations of vocoder (fixed instrument category), making it very convenient for use according to your purpose.

■New Vintage Design with a New, Yet Nostalgic, Black Panel

The microKORG XL+ has a retro and futuristic design with a style reminiscent of classic vintage electric pianos and a stylish black panel.

The metal levers, click-click dials, and solid feel knobs are high-class components that enhance the pleasure of editing synthesizers.

■KORG's MMT, the crystallization of KORG's analog modeling technology

The microKORG XL+ is equipped with MMT (Multiple Modeling Technology), the culmination of Korg's analog modeling technology.

The microKORG XL+ is equipped with two oscillators that produce powerful sound pressure using the MMT sound source system, which has been used in many of Korg's products to date.

Oscillator 1 (OSC1) features seven types of oscillator algorithms, including formant waveforms like the human voice, PCM/DWGS with additional vintage keyboards, strings, etc., as well as typical analog synthesizer waveforms.

In addition, cross modulation, unison, and variable phase modulation (VPM) can be applied to achieve timbres that are impossible to reproduce with standard PCM synthesizers.

Furthermore, by making full use of modulation (sync and ring) with Oscillator 2 (OSC2), you can easily create complex and powerful sounds.
