I purchased this from an estate sale. The previous owner was one of those guys who would do things like store the batteries separate from the camera. For that reason, it does not come with a battery. I will say that it is so incredibly clean that I do not doubt that if you put a battery in it it will fire right up. It also comes with this really nice case that is brand new and still attached in the packaging.
