Il a culminé à la 18e place du Billboard Top 200 et à la 7e place du classement des albums R&B. L'album a été produit par le producteur Richard Perry. Le LP a donné un succès dans le top 40, "Gettin' Ready for Love", atteignant le numéro 27 du Billboard Hot 100 américain. D'autres singles sortis de l'album comprennent "You Got It" et "Your Love Is So Good for Me", ce dernier recevant une nomination aux Grammy Awards.
